Fire up the Grill for a Santa Maria style BBQ! This menu originated on the Central Coast of California and dates back to the California Rancho days of the 1850's. It is still a favorite and typically part of Memorial Day events. As native Californian, for me it signals the start of summer but it is great anytime you are up for outdoor cooking.
